Leeming House is a very special Hotel set in beautiful grounds. The staff under the direction of Karen Irving are all fantastic and they work together to create a very intimate and relaxing environment. We have just spent Christmas there and have enjoyed it very much, lovely food, great gentle entertainment and the most peaceful lounge with log fires.

The Festive Christmas at The Leeming House improves each year under the direction of the general manager, Karen Irving. This year was outstanding from the welcome, the super bed for our Labrador already set up in our room (he even had his own stocking delivered to the room on Christmas Day), the menu and the quality of the food and...

We stayed for two nights in December. The hotel is lovely, peaceful and the setting is stunning. We had a feature king, with a balcony overlooking Ullswater, the room was well equipped and very clean. But the best thing about this lovely hotel are the staff, they were all, without exception, warm, welcoming professional and made our trip even more...

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip with a group. We were welcomed with a glass of some spirit/liqueur that was quite nice. Because it was almost 9pm, we had to rush to get dinner at the restaurant - we were still given good service but felt like they closed too early and we were keeping the...

We spent two nights here after having a very small wedding. From the moment we arrived, we were treated very well. All the staff made us feel welcome, and we had a fantastic room with amazing views over the lake. We were treated to a lovely bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our marriage, and honestly, we felt like royalty. A...

We decided to take a three night break here as we love the area and thought taking the car rather than the motorhome would give us more freedom in December.
