As a university canoe club we have been visiting Roy Bridge Hotel for many years. The staff are very accommodating to our needs as a large party. We normally book out the whole bunkhouse for a very reasonable price. We make good use of the fully equiped kitchen - last time cooking for 45 hungry paddlers! When we return from...

For a mountain biking trip to Fort William with a group of friends this location was ideal, a 10-15 minute drive away. However the bunk barn its self needs of some serious TLC which is a shame because its got huge potential. We often camp so I didn't think I was the pickiest person... The kitchen area is very well...

I have done many reviews over the last few months. They have always been really good and I was questioning if I was being too positive... But this review proves I have been realistic. It could have been so different. We booked the hostel for 5 nights for our kayak club holiday. We expected a basic but clean and functioning...

Big rooms with lots of character. The showers are great too. It's an old building so don't expect modern and be prepared to hear creaky floorboards. The owners are super nice and make a delicious breakfast. The only downside is the beds. Although they are big, they're so worn you can feel the springs! The mattresses are unbelievably loud, creaky...

Stayed here 2 nights last month. arrived 3pm only to find the hotel and bar did not open until 4pm! The hotel is very neglected both inside and out with patchy wood replacements. Room basic but bed linen very clean. Windows had mould growing on the inside and outside and weeds. Heater had been replaced and wall not redecorated. Only...

I would not normally do such a negative review of somewhere as it is peoples livelihood, but I feel it is my duty to do so... I had two nights at the Roy Bridge, and whilst the hosts were as lovely as ever and could not help us enough, and I would not want to hurt anybody's feelings, but the...

Stayed here me and a friend so we could walk Ben Nevis. The rooms are basic, comfy bed that's all that mattered, tea and coffee facilities in the room. Small bar with pool table and juke box! Prices at the bar are reasonable and the staff are very nice! Breakfast remembering we payed £7.50 for was disappointing. Very small selection...

Close and convenient to Fort William and Ben Nevis- ideal for walkers that want to be close to the countryside. Room was nice but average (what you pay for) but the beer down stairs was cheap! Pool table and juke box available for a night cap! Would stay again if we ever walk up Ben Nevis again!!

Stayed here last weekend whilst we walked up Ben Nevis and for the price its excellent. I was with a group of 8 men who aren't the quietest and we had no issues whist staying here. Friendly staff and a great bar on site. We would definitely stay here again.

Myself and a large group of mates stayed for the weekend as a base for climbing. Wonderful hospitality by the hosts and tasty affordable food both for dinner and breakfast. The bar was open till late and atmosphere was friendly and good fun. Rooms were all very spacious clean and warm exactly what we were looking for from the weekend....
