We recently spent a night during a touring break. Our second visit. This is by far the best hotel in the Spean Bridge area maintaining the best of Best Western standards, with beautiful mountain views. You are assured of a warm homely Geordie welcome from Suzanne and Ian. Get off the A82 and try the A86.

We were staying in a lodge near Roybridge and decided to have a family meal here on one of the evenings. We had not pre-booked, but were made to feel very welcome and advised to order at the bar as soon as possible as they were expecting a large party in the next half hour. there was a good selection...

Stayed here one night at the end of July on the way to a week in Skye. The hotel is in a great location in Glen Spean and is elevated above the road. There was a nice welcome from Suzanne and our room was at the front with good views over the garden (with birdtable) and the glen. They've gone...

Thank your for your review, yes unfortunately the Highlands is not the place to come expecting high speed internet ha! maybe in another 20 years but that is the joy of being away from it all! running both a bar and Restaurant menu their is quite a selection of both light and traditional meals, but of course being a truly...

Had a great meal. Massive slice of homemade pie, and it was a pie, none of this nonsense dish with pastry on top. Homemade chunky chips, wife had lamp and again lovely sized portion with a great taste. The desserts was just as big, well presented and delightful. Well worth the visit.

Ha, we had to laugh when we read this never heard it called that before but your right none of this puff pastry over a couple of chunks of meat, our chef makes "real pie" on a plate just like granny used to make, surprised you had room for pudding ha! although being all home-made it would be a shame...

We booked a family room for one night while touring the highlands. The hotel not only looks good and be fitting the area but is ideally located if you need a relaxing nights rest , set in a picturesque area. would recommend a 5 minute sit in the gardens to soak in the atmosphere. The hotels staff are very accommodating...

Thank you for your lovely review, unfortunately the down side to a 200 year old building is it has no room to put a lift, hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip and that we can welcome you back one day if your ever up in the area. Ian & Suzanne

Excellent hotel, brilliant staff, good position. The portions for the bar food were very large and quality very good. The staff showed an interest and soon predicted what you wanted to drink. Nice bar area and well stocked. All in all probably one of the best Best Western hotels I have stayed in.

We stayed one night here when the hotel was fully booked and very busy. We had a lovely room, but very tiny, with no room to unpack anything in the room or the bathroom - no shelves, drawers etc. But the bed was extremely comfortable, unusually for me, which was great, and it was really quiet so we had a...

Thank you for your lovely review we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us, we do give all our guest the choice of where they would like to eat in the evenings but our bar is very welcoming and homely and people often choose there instead of the restaurant knowing they will be in there for breakfast. We hope...

We booked this as a stopover for one night whilst touring, without taking a lot of time to research it. We were really delighted - it is a fabulous find. My image of a Best Western has leapt - I did not realise they have such individual and impressive hotels as this. We stayed in the Braveheart suite - do...
