Kincraig Castle Hotel is a stunning, family owned, 4 AA star & 4 STB/VisitScotland star country house hotel with an award-winning AA Rosette Restaurant situated in its own landscaped gardens with breath-taking views towards the Cromarty Firth and the Black Isle beyond. From your first sight of the Castle as you drive up the long tree-lined drive, you know you are somewhere special. The grand white-harled building was an ancestral seat of the Clan Mackenzie and the history and elegance of the period is reflected in the displays of crow step gables, ornamental turrets and stone mullions. You will receive a warm welcome at Kincraig Castle Hotel and made to feel at home by the owners and their team.

A small but charming boutique castle/hotel where every single member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure our stay was pleasant, nothing was too much trouble for them. Food was of high quality and nicely presented and served. The roaring log fire in the lounge was constantly re-stoked creating a cosy, welcoming space to relax. Bedroom just a little tired but spotlessly clean and good quality provisions. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back if we are in the area again.

We had the most fabulous stay. The attention to detail in the hotel is lovely. The staff are so attentive. The food was amazing and the service is just wonderful. We loved sitting in the lounge with our drinks after dinner and the cosy fire. Such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. The extra wee touches don’t go unnoticed. A wonderful stay and we will definitely be back. We stayed in the estate room.

WOW!! We have just left from our 2 night Honeymoon stay at the KinCraig Castle Hotel and we loved it. The staff, especially the manager Stephen were attentive, smiley and welcoming. They couldn't do enough for you, we were truly spoilt rotten and made to feel so special. Everything was tailored for us, we even got chocolates as a congratulations on our wedding. The rooms are beautiful and cosy with wonderful views. The food, make sure you eat here!!! The chef is incredible, I'm a vegetarian and pregnant, they made me a special meal just for me. Wonderful!! The food on the menu is absolutely delicious. Breakfast was amazing. We wished we could have stayed longer. A really wonderful place to stay. The staff are a credit to the hotel and the grounds and rooms are fantastic. We'll be back!!! If you want first class service in a beautiful Highland hotel then you have to stay here!!!

Just returned from a fantastic break at this hotel! Fabulous atmosphere with period furnishings. Lovely large room which was spotlessly clean. The food is excellent. A beautiful breakfast and delicious evening meal. The most wonderful thing about our stay was the fantastic staff! Each and every one of them went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. So unusual for every member of staff to be so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning for another stay! Can’t recommend highly enough!

One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. My wife and I felt like we were absolutely spoilt from start to finish. Exceptional food, comfy bed, but the best thing of all was the staff - friendly, attentive, lovely. Really sorry to have to leave.

Absolutely loved our Christmas Dinner, having not been out at Christmas since a child, and that's a long time ago, I had some reservations, none of which transpired! The staff were excellent in their communication re booking, and advance ordering of food and drinks. We were met and welcomed on arrival which was just lovely, led to our table and our meal commenced, which was lovely. How super to see staff in Scottish attire! Arrivals of guests was staggered which was excellent, everybody this way felt special. After our meal we were invited to retire to the lounge and this was my personal highlight, not being rushed off site, we sat had coffee and mince pies and cheese and biscuits and played Scrabble! Just perfect for our family occasion, well done Kincraig!

Spent Hongmany at Kincraig, from start to finish this was a fantastic experience. Staff were amazing at making everyone feel welcome and great fun when it came to the dancing. Food on the night was great could not find a fault with it at all, band were great. The only thing I would say for next year is make sure everyone it outside before the fireworks go off. The room was great. Breakfast was fantastic in the morning. Hopefully we can come again

What a great find… we were gifted a nights stay for an Christmas present. From start to finish the staff were professional and friendly. The hotel may be a wee bit tired but this adds to its charm. We spent a lovely afternoon in front on the open fire playing board games and having a cocktail or two! We ate in the dining room tho in hindsight i wish we had thought to book one of the pods as they looked great. The food was lovely, regretfully we were only able for one course. We had a great nights sleep so looking forward to booking a return visit.
