Had the good fortune to stay in this lovely old hotel overlooking some beautiful countryside. Situated on the main road overlooking the small village of Invergordon, Scotland. I'd taken the time to read a few of the reports here on Tripadvisor, all showing glowing reports on the hotel and staff and I completely agree with all the comments. The staff...

A brilliant afternoon from the moment we drove up the drive of this splendid looking Country Hotel. Sampled the afternoon tea two weeks ago, so good that we had to have another fix yesterday. The setting is relaxed, staff attentive and the food is superb. Quality sandwiches, delicate quiche, scones with clotted cream and jam, and cakes of the highest order. Good value at £12.50 a head. The owner popped over on both occasions to have a...

We visited in June 2016 during a driving tour of Scotland and stayed for 2 nights. The property is beautiful, the grounds are large and well kept and there's plenty of parking available. The lovely facade is a welcoming sight when you enter the property. Pros: 1. Location - nice location with 2 big distilleries nearby - Glenmorangie and Dalmore,...

Kincraig Castle Hotel is a stunning, family owned, award winning 4 AA star hotel situated in its own landscaped gardens with breath-taking views towards the Cromarty Firth and the Black Isle beyond. From your first sight of the Castle, as you drive up the long tree-lined drive, you know you are somewhere special. The grand white-harled building was the ancestral seat of the Clan Mackenzie and the history and elegance of the period is reflected in the displays of crow step gables, ornamental turrets and stone mullions.
