We have often been to this hotel but not with the present owners. The place is greatly different but for the better with a large bar area and a quieter snug for those needing a bit more peace. The best rooms are numbered 11 to 16 and all have got the facilities you'd expect coupled with great attention given by...

Stopped in for lunch on Saturday following a local recommendation and was really pleased we had. The board outside seemed to indicate that lunch orders would stop at 1.30, but this was far from the case. They were busy at the time and were apologetic that if we did order we would have to wait around half an hour, but...

my sort of place ..quaint, quiet, a bit higgledy-piggledy, but with a lovely feel to it..was a coaching inn and preserves its character..We had an evening meal, and the food was lovely- a simple but good menu.local Monty's ale was particularly nice.

Staff were cheerful and could not do enough for us all. All the staff in the town facilities that we visited were informative and showed obvious pride in the their lovely...

I stayed here as part of a wedding party but by the time I booked my room all the standard proceed rooms were taken and I was left with the luxury suite. This had a huge double double bed and big bathroom with bath and shower. It didn't have any awkward sloped ceilings like the smaller rooms so I avoided...
