Stayed here for one night as the place I usually use (Sturdy's Castle) and it was just right! the room was huge, staff were friendly, food was good and the bar was spot on! I will definitely use again.

We booked this hotel because of its proximity to Oxford, but were very disappointed with our choice. We had booked a room with a 4-poster bed but, when shown it, discovered that the heating was not working. Eventually another double room was found. Our gin-and-tonics were served without ice or lemon and the food in the restaurant was atrocious and...

I booked this hotel as a last minute booking, i didn't do any research at all, i didn't have the time. I booked a twin room, it was the last available on the site i was using to book my stay, however when we arrived i was asked if i wanted to upgrade to a "Four poster" room, which i...

We stayed on a Monday night in a ground floor room. The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean the double bed was a little small as was the room, however the bathroom was a great size and looked like it had been refurbished in last few years and looked after. For the price we paid £58 room only...

In a desert of exorbitant prices, this really is a little oasis of good value in the Oxford area. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and nothing was too much bother (even the Baileys Coffee request which we may think was a first!). The room was spacious with a solid four poster, comfy mattress, generously sized en suite and cleaning...

We really enjoyed our stay (2 nights) at this lovely hotel just outside Oxford. The staff was very friendly. The room was very lovely, comfortable and had all you can need for your stay. The cleanness is at the highest standard. The location is perfect: a few minutes driving to the park and rides for Oxford, very easy to find...

Sleeping in this hotel was particularly difficult, the bed was uncomfortable, the rest of the building was very loud with creaking floorboards. The room was of an average quality, although we had a cupboard in our room that had a lot of old christmas decorations. The bathroom was of a good size, and was clean, although the water pressure was...

We used this venue as a half way point to meet friends from Herefordshire, we are based in Cambridgeshire. The hotel commands a superb site, 10 minutes from Pear Tree Park and Ride which takes you to the centre of Oxford, 15 minutes from Blenheim Palace, 40 minutes from Waddesdon Manor which is a must to visit. It is in...

We had a lovely stay only for one night. The staff are so friendly, the atmosphere was friendly, meals are lovely & tasty but the portions are a bit big unless you have a big appetite.
