I stayed here one night on a business trip. Not wanting a restaurant meal I opted for a simple bar meal. I ordered fish and chips which was brought to the table in under 5 minutes. The very small piece of fish (about 5 oz) was ok, but the chips (enough to serve two customers!) were very undercooked and some...

This place is picturesque , especially the grounds around the older house area . A nice drive in too . The "spa" is very basic , and in need of a thorough clean and updating . Broken down double glazing you can't see out of the windows around the pool , bare plasterboard mis matched on the walls , especially...

Unfortunately we had a few different issues during our stay here. Check-in didn't get off to a great start, as we were told our room would be ready in 30 mins, so we had a bottle of champagne, came back an hour later and were told the room still wasn't ready. If we had known it would have been this...

I've stayed at this hotel now three times over the past couple of years with my mom and it's fantastic. I seriously can't fault it. The staff are lovely and friendly. The rooms are really spacious, comfortable and clean. The food in the restaurant is delicious and the spa treatments were fantastic. Emily did my back massage in the spa...

True, this hotel is set in a very beautiful location. The view of the hotel on the website was of the lovely old Walton Hall. In reality, the hotel is actually a modern collection of buildings at the rear and that is essentially the main entrance. It's a nasty, dated 80's build and rather austere and industrial in look and...

We stayed in the old hall which is wonderful, we found the staff warm, friendly and helpfull. Everything we asked for we got. Nothing was too much trouble and the valentines meal was lovely. Shame it has negative comments, we would stay again.

Wanting a family get-together for 11 people we thought that Walton Hall provided just what we wanted. Apartments with self catering facilities; three 2 bed apartments seemed ideal and were booked. On arrival the hotel looked great; Check-in was supposed to be 15:00 but we were still waiting at 16:00. Superficially the staff were very pleasant and helpful but spent...

Fabulous setting in lovely grounds , 1 small gripe we had to change our initial rooms due to a very poignant smell of cigarette smoke , though this was slightly debated by the receptionist when my sister advised of the same!! The rooms are massive , we stayed in the older part of the hotel ( stables) so , overall...

Booked here for a quiet stay starting on a Sunday to complete some work prior to doing a business presentation in Stratford upon avon over following 2 days. I checked prior to booking that wifi was reasonable quality and available. At check in I enquired about the wifi connection, and was told there was a "bit of a problem just...
