In short our stay was overpriced for the service we received. Staff require basic training and the man who checked us in was very snobbish and rude. Breakfast was a shambles with us having to wait 20 minutes to have a table and another 10 minutes for the buffet to be restocked. The first room we were in had damaged...

Have just returned from 3 days at the Walton Hall Hotel. First the good points - very nice room and the grounds are superb. Food very good. Service in restaurant very hit and miss as the tables are not allocated to a specific server and a lot of time is wasted while the waiter looks for where the food is...

The hotel setting was beautiful with plenty of photo opportunities in the fabulous landscape. The wedding service and breakfast were well organised and as a guest appeared to have proceeded to plan. We stayed in the main hall, the bedroom was large as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and it was all very clean apart from long...

Accommodation was in the 16th century Hall. The only notable issue for me regarding the accommodation was the standard of cleaning of the room - in particular the bathroom had many long black hairs stuck to the bath and also on the tiled floor - when this was mentioned to staff at the desk they simply said, were "sorry about...
