I cannot compliment Gordon and his team enough as they compilment the perfect setting for a hotel by friendly and effecient service. The room was gerat and the meals of the highest quality. Although the wifi & mobile reception is not greta in this area, just enjoy the gardens and history of the building.

Dear Ian Thank you very much for your kind comments. I have had an ongoing issue with our wi-fi but have now replaced both routers and have resolved the issues as there were conflicting signals which caused the connection to drop. We have also fixed our ethernet connections, which every room has. Due to our very thick walls, mobile reception...

We stayed here for the first time when we attended a wedding in a nearby village. It was simply lovely. So relaxing. Apart from breakfast (yummy!) the wedding took over socially so we never had time to eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. This year, we have recently enjoyed a fabulous lunch. Looked after by the wonderful Chrissie, it...

Had to take a trip to Yeovil for a morning business meeting so decided to travel down the night before. Booked Ash House as it looked good online and i was not disappointed. The place is just off the A303 but feels like it is lost in the countryside, peaceful and perfect for a restful stop off. Staff and owner...

My wife and I spent 1 night here at Easter. It was suprisingly quiet considering it was a bank holiday weekend, which was exactly what we were hoping for. We decided to have dinner at the hotel and has a few drinks in the lounge/bar area beforehand, which was nice. The meal was fantastic, really delicious food. The room was...

We recently spent 2 nights (dinner, bed and breakfast) at Ash House. The house is being gradually renovated: the owner has introduced some tasteful decor in keeping with the age of the building. The dining-room and the conservatory are particularly fine. Our room (The Alderman) was large and comfortable. Although it overlooked the road, it was quiet, as this is...

Thank you for your kind review, I am glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. The dish you had was oven roasted corn fed chicken with a mushroom and tarragon risotto, a classic combination which has been a recognised flavour combination for generations. I am sorry that you felt that the dish was not to your liking and have...
