We did not stay here. This is a beautiful hotel. For a wedding it would be magical. Food not bad. The staff need to go to the smile school. They did there job just but with a sullen attitude. You have to be on the ball with what you want done or you would be disappointed.

Attended my work's christmas party at Chilstone Park Hotel. The venue was lovely, great period building. The food was great and served hot which is a rarity when catering large numbers such as a work's party. Each room is quite small so the party spilled over but this wasnt a problem. Drinks were on the expensive side about £1 -...

As a break for couple of days.Just a lovely setting had junior suites which was delightful.main building a little chilly in lounge area throw another log on the fire. Service superb.Staff polite but not intrusive. Would love to visit in summer.although the heavy frost gave the landscape extra christmassy feel.

We had the opportunity for a deal on travelzoo which was for an executive double in the mews plus dinner and breakfast and a bottle of bubbly for £149. The deal was fantastic and the stay was beyond expectation. Often when travelling it is the small things that are missed, a bottle of water and glass on each side of...

We stayed for one night in one of the Mews rooms with a four poster bed. The room was great, extremely warm and comfortable. Only downside was being woken around 1am by one of the staff pulling a trolley back and forth past our room, but this stopped after we phoned reception. The food was exemplary - dinner was delicious...

I stayed here with my husband for one night, we found the staff very helpful, the food we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, BUT be very wary of the price of wine, we all know that there is a mark up on drinks, but we found that the bottle of red wine we had was £33. It was a Spee...

Lovely setting with the hotel having plenty of character. All the staff were friendly and polite. Our room , Shelly, was really nice with an enormously large bed which was very comfortable. Complimentary water. A small niggle - I removed a couple of cobwebs from the ceiling which were annoying me. The breakfast had the usual hot and cold food...

What a lovely hotel. Nice staff and very helpful. Fantastic room being the Caurosel room with views over the lake area. Lovely gardens to walk round. Rather good selection of local beers and good wines. Had a fabulous three course evening dinner with bottle fizzy thrown in ! Bit slow service to start with and a couple of niggly bits...

Lovely old place as pictured, found the Staff were very friendly and quite histerically escourted us around the table to dinner, nice touch. My friend got married here too, always loved it. Very Jane Austen long drive up to the House, and the breakfast was lovely and dark oak wood, fireplaces and was Very Clean. Will come back again for...
