We arrived at Glenlo Abbey Hotel directly from the Dublin airport (luckily, we hired a driver). We were completely exhausted and it was early in the day, so the room was not ready. We were asked if we'd like breakfast while we waited for our room, even though it was clear that breakfast service was over. We said, yes, and...

This hotel is fabulous - no expense is spared in making sure your stay there is nothing less than exceptional. Staff was amazing and so helpful. The grounds are very beautiful and the hotel itself was classic and truly stunning. The breakfast was fantastic and sitting by the fire at night enjoying a glass of wine is a must. Really...

Galway restored and converted castle to golf hotel with an actual orient express cab car fine dining. Was a great find when searching area for hotel. The room is very spacious, staff very friendly. Golf course is only 9 holes but very nice with view of the ocean and very reasonably priced only $30 Erou plus club rentals. Is five...

The Falconry program was one of the highlights of a 10 day trip to Ireland. Jurgen's love & passion for his subject are infectious. The 'Hawk Walk' portion was amazing & highlighted Jurgen's grace & professionalism. Our group included ages 6 to 70 and everyone was completely engaged. All had the opportunity to hold owls, hawks, and falcons.

Outstanding stay at Glenlo Abbey Hotel. The hotel is located a very short drive from Galway city center. We initially worried that it would be too far of a drive from the activity but were relieved to find that not to be the case. The service at the hotel is impeccable. From the moment we arrived, hotel staff went above...

I have not stayed in many hotels better than this one. Right on the golf course. Archery, Falconry, Golf and Tranquility walks. Staff can't do enough to make your stay great. They have the yes we can attitude about everything. I loved it!

We were two couples whom loved our stay at Glenlo Abbey! The hotel is lovely and warm, as is the staff. The rooms are clean, decorated nicely and are a good size. The only down side was the WIFI coverage; it was slow at best. We had a lovely dinner in the Pullman restaurant, which is located in an original...

Room 320 is huge. An entry hall, rooftop patio, sitting room (with a decanter of Jameson) and a bedroom with a king bed. Included with room 320 are beautiful grounds and a wonderful staff. The Pullman restaurant is an eclectic touch; two Pullman cars from the Orient Express used as a fine dining restaurant. Food was good but expensive. The...

We loved this hotel. We were on an ambitious road trip around Ireland and were alternating our lodgings between town settings and rural settings. We enjoyed the escape from the city - gardens, birds, golf course, paths to walk on etc. It was so peaceful. We were welcomed by a cozy fire and a friendly staff. We enjoyed the beautiful...

Had a most enjoyable week-end here last month and would love to shout out all its wonderful attributes from the roof tops for the world to hear. How I wish to be just now eating in either The Pullman or the bar. Yes there's a sense and a taste of The Orient in The Pullman but the food in the...
