We chose Highgate House for our Golden Wedding Celebration and we were not disappointed. Great food, excellent accommodation and friendly, attentive staff. Our celebration meal was in the Baronial Hall with a reception in the lounge next door. We could not have chosen anywhere better.

We attended on Sunday 26th March for the Mothers Day Afternoon Tea and we couldn't recommend Highgate House enough. The staff were so attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We had a delicious 3 course meal and both mums were given a beautiful plant as a Mothers Day Gift. The room was decorated beautifully with flowers for...

I spent 3 days at Highgate House Hotel and I could not fault it! The rooms offer everything that anybody could ask for including a television, hairdryer and complementary water and tea. The Hotel offers guests a buffet style breakfast and lunch. I had a nut allergy and I was aware of another person whom was vegan. All of the...

Booked in for a two day conference event - we were told it was a great venue and, it was! Fabulous staff and facilities. Rooms a little 'tired' but a small tv and slightly warn fixtures did not effect the comfort of the bed, the shower, towels and linen. Had an amazing meal in a private dining room with great...

There are several points i will now list that made this the most disappointing venue/food/gift;- 1, You park round the back of the beautiful house, so your now looking at what looks like a run down hospital. 2, You approach the reception, which is...

My husband and myself booked a Red letter day and stayed at Highgate House. Sadly we only stayed for 1 night on Sunday 12th March 2017. From the time we arrived I can only say nothing was to much trouble, the lady on reception was so helpful. We stayed in the main house which is stunning. Our dinner was equally...

An extremely pleasant place to stay. The staff are friendly, polite and attentive and the facilities are very good. The restaurant is excellent and offers a broad range of well prepared and presented meals. The conference facilities are excellent and well serviced. My only slight criticism would be the size of the room I stayed in, hence not receiving a...
