I've had the pleasure of staying here on a few occasions and one has to say every time has been memorable. Not sure whether I've just been lucky but upon each time I've checked in I've been delightfully greeted by the same lovely receptionist, Nicky I think her name is. I've never been made to feel more welcomed at any other hotels I've stayed in (including other village hotels). Check in was easy, I wasn't sure how to self check in but Nicky was there for me to assist. The entrance is nice and bright, clean and tidy too. The bar and grill on ones left is very appealing, so much so I decided to have a drink before I went to my room. The room was very clean. Big enough too not to feel cramped, although family rooms are available if one is travelling with kids etc. The soaps and shampoos were well stocked as were the tea and coffee facilities. The gym and spa staff were all very nice. I had the pleasure of speaking with Sue when I went. Her and Nicky make the place feel so much warmer and friendlier when you have them greeting you (I'm sure other staff members do too but I'm only going on who I met). The gym is very spacious and covid friendly. There's enough equipment so one is not standing around waiting. The spa is ultra relaxing with both the sauna and steam room offering a place to sweat out ones sins, especially if too long has been spent at the bar! There's ample room in the changing areas with lockers available too, if required. Overall, I'd recommend this place to anyone looking to travel or stay for either leisure or business, as I noticed there's a business hub for the more serious of guests. Well done all at Village Hotel and Gym Wirral!

Got a great deal online for a little break after Christmas with the family, we stay at quite a few Village hotels but this is our favourite and the kids love it. Loads to do in the area and really close to Liverpool. Excellent stay as always, nice big room, lovely and clean and the staff are wonderful, really friendly. Look forward to coming back again soon.
