Can't say I am I impressed with this hotel. It is looking very run down and in need of a serious makeover. Paint on the walls in my room was beginning to fall off in places. However, the bed was comfortable and I could not fault the staff who were very friendly, polite and helpful. Sauna was nice, steam room...

I was looking forward to staying at this hotel, as it was a Mercure, a reputable Accor brand hotel. The receptionist was friendly, as were the other staff. There was ample car parking spaces. But that's where it ends. The hotel, located near Ellesmere Port, is miles away from any transport links, on a busy road. The rooms were disappointing....

The decor in some areas was a little tiered, but building clean and warm- . The food was varied and...

Arrived late at hotel but staff were friendly and welcoming but a shame about the room. the windows had been left open as the room smelt so the room was freezing but the heating didn't work although the corridors in the hotel were boiling. Discovered massive cobwebs above the bathroom door and even worse a curly hair on the spare...

Well firstly I had read a few bad reviews but I had booked already (silly) so had to keep an open mind. On arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist, she was really helpful and gave us all the information we needed. When we got to our room (ground floor twin) it was comfortable but in obvious need of...
