We have just spent a lovely weekend at this hotel and even the three days of pouring rain didn't spoil it. We went with Shearings on a comfortable coach at a very reasonable cost. We were welcomed on the coach as we arrived by the assistant manager who explained everything about the hotel in great detail so as soon as...

Just had an amazing Sunday lunch at the Marine Hotel in Old Colwyn. It's the best Sunday lunch we have have had in months. Try the three meat menu, there's loads of succulent local meats. So if you are thinking of having the best Sunday lunch in the area, head for the Marine.

Stayed there for a night recently, room was clean, staff nice and helpful, I paid £50 for a room and a cooked breakfast which I think was very reasonable. Wouldn't necessarily take my Mrs and kids there, but good value for a night or two when visiting the area. Breakfast was served at 8.30am-10am on a Sunday, I had to...

We stayed on a Saturday night. The room was basic but ok for £60, breakfast is a light breakfast consisting of cereals and toast or you can pay an extra £5 for a full english. The room was clean and the bed comfy however the shower was not at all powerful. Its ok for one night.

Booked as a stopover for a work trip to Anglesey. So much better than a typical travelodge or similar. We arrived late and even though food had ended the owner was kind enough to cook for us. This is a great pub and hotel with a warm welcome and good atmosphere. Very clean comfortable rooms and easy for the A55...

Visited this place yet again, been many times before - this time we had dinner in the restaurant, then moved to function room to see the Not the SAHB tribute band. Meal was OK, could have done with more meat in the curry although the sauce was flavoursome. Others had chicken curry and scampi which were excellent and all plates...

stay away of this place at all costs, the place is dead and the only people leaving good reviews are either friends or in bread relations, i would rather eat the insects off the floor than the food, the owner cook needs to take cook away from her title as she can not cook, you know the saying: you cant...
