We stayed for 2 nights and will remember it for the fact that the fire alarm sounded at 2am on the second night. We were out in the cold for about 20 minutes while the owner was summoned to the premises by mobile phone. There were apologies the next morning and an explanation that it was a faulty smoke detector,... More

We stayed in one of the 2 cottages and it was perfect. Really clean. Staff very helpful and breakfast superb. Nearby pub was ok, the food was really good although they stop serving at about 8:30. We didn't quite make it to the red cow just down the road but they don't do food.

I have stayed at this gorgeous B&B 4 times with my husband & we will be back! The location has stunning views, the rooms are very spacious & spotlessly clean, the staff couldn't be any friendlier & the breakfast was delicious! If you're planning on eating dinner in Pontsticill be sure to book into The Butchers Arms just a few... More

Spent only one night here but we have never had such a friendly welcome and outstanding hospitality. Would loved to stay longer. The Breakfast was fantastic, served at time to suit us. The room was clean and tidy, only a small point, carpet in the bath room not to our taste, but it was all clean. Great place to stay

Visit here for business. Very welcoming. Friendly staff at the breakfast room. Rooms and bed comfy . Will definitely return for my next business stop over. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcomed. We stopped here for B and B and went down to the Butchers Arms for dinner.

There was a big group of us. Most stayed in one of the beautiful cottages but my husband, daughter and I stayed in a triple bedroom in the main house. It was lovely - spacious and spotless with the most amazing views. The staff are great - very welcoming and accommodating and we had lots of laughs. The countryside is... More

The room was pleasant enough, tea and coffee making facilities and of course a trouser press. There was a TV but we never turned it on. The shower was over the bath which was a bit fiddly and leaked a bit of water, but it was hot and powerful. There was a fair bit of noise from outside and adjacent... More

Really jolly staff - great sense of fun & they really cared about their guests & what they offered them. Delicious breakfasts, just about everything on offer - including cooked breakfasts of all sorts, cereals, croissants, all sorts of fruit, plus juices, tea, coffee and even yummy brownies & fruit cake which we took 'take-away' & had for lunch! They'd... More
