Miv and John are stellar hosts. Almost the first words out of Miv's mouth were "would you like some tea?" Before I knew it, my friend and I were settled with tea, freshly baked ginger cake, and a friendly chat with our hostess. My room (upstairs with ensuite bath) was large, bright, and comfortably appointed and had a very comfy...

Stayed at the wonderfully appointed Ridgeway Lodge for one night while walking the Ridgeway. Miv and her husband are friendly, attentive hosts and the lodge itself is very comfortable and very clean with spacious bedrooms and excellent showers. Miv cooks up a wonderful breakfast and thoughtfully provided a cup of tea and slice of cake when we first arrived. I...

We stayed with 2 parents and 1 child in 2 rooms. There is a joint living room with many books (both reading and travel guides) available, an open kitchen, dining table for the breakfast. Bathroom very modern and clean. We only stayed 1 night, but this is a perfect base for undertaking various trips in the region. Close enough to...

The annex was a perfect set up for us as we visited the area for a family wedding. We arrived late evening with overtired 2.5 and 7 year old girls. Miv and a John allowed us to make ourselves totally at home and we didn't feel at all embarrassed about our children running around. It had the benefit of self...

Beautiful house close to Bucks walking territory. Not far from Princes Risborough for pubs etc. Wonderfully crisp clean linen and a comfortable bed. The host offers tea and cake on arrival. The bathroom is not en-suite but pristine with an excellent shower. Excellent value for money and very pleasant to stay in such a lovely house. The garden looked as...

My second stay at this B&B and again a very nice stay in a lovely area. Felt very comfortable as a single traveller, such comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, large and modern bathroom and very kind and helpful hosts, and a very reasonable price too. Highly recommended.

Great welcome - tea and cake - wonderful antidote to hours on the motorway from north Lancs. Views restful, bedroom clean, comfortable, spacious - we had the upstairs twin. What a joy. A comfortable lounge to sit in after a meal out, and a specially made breakfast. So glad we found you, and you had room for us.

Warm welcome with tea and homemade cake. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and decorated to a high, homely, standard. Even our mattresses had memory foam on them and pillows very comfy. Sadly it was raining but when we return we will look forward to a walk around the lovely garden and countryside. Breakfast was super. We can't praise Mr and Mrs...
