I should have wrote this before now. As we had a amazing stay. We took out dog with us kira. They could not have made us all feel more welcome. While walking her round the gardens the owners came out and made such a fuss of her. Soon all staff was there. The room we had was stunning very clean....

We stayed on a Sunday night and found we were the only people in restaurant, menu poor and the meal, a starter which was ok and a roast which was very poor and seem to me to be a reheated Sunday lunch. neither my husband or I enjoyed it. Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes soggy and not pleasant.

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy the meal served to you on Sunday evening. I have spoken with the Chef and staff on duty but they are unable to help me establish any problems as I believe you were asked if everything was to your liking...

We stayed here as a couple and I cannot fault the place, everything was perfect from the second we arrived. The staff were very welcoming and asked how our journey had been, they informed us about how to get on the wifi (the signal was poor but we didn't mind as we actually like talking to eachother instead of spending...

I stayed here as a lone female for two nights whilst preparing for and undergoing a two day rigorous interview process. The building, surroundings in fact everything was stunning! Staff were so friendly, genuine and helpful. I stayed in a room still to be refurbished (new carpets in place and beautiful new ensuite but frankly the room was still stunning!...

We stayed on a three night break offer. The hotel is in a building that was originally built in the16th century and as a consquence has a delightful quirky charm. There is no lift and the stairs have varying degrees of depth which can be a little disconcerting to the less nimble. However help was readily available with the luggage. Our...

We stayed as a family of 2 adults and 4 small children on 12 June. Make sure you check before going if your room is refurbished or not. We had a room which hadn't been refurbished. The carpet was grubby, the wallpaper was peeling, the decor was very dated, the bathroom was carpeted, etc etc. Truly terrible. We were clear...

Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. Staff were brilliant. Room was excellent, very comfortable double bed, excellent night's sleep, best I think I've ever had in a hotel! (room 7). The room was too hot to begin with as the radiators couldn't be turned off, so I had to open the windows, but it was OK afterwards. (shame to waste energy...

Have stayed at Maesmawr Hall twice now and really like it. Set in a lovely rural location, surrounded by fields and a river. The main timbered building is beautiful and has a lovely dining room. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent as was the service.
