In contrast to the many good reviews, our stay in the Seegasthof Stadler was a bitter disappointment. We have made our reservation directly with the hotel. Judging by the services, accommodation, and the attention of the owners, this hotel does not deserve a 4-star rating. The hotel with its 45 rooms is isolated from the village of Unterach. A bus...

We stayed here for just a night in transit between Vienna and Salzburg. I too wish we could have stayed longer. The staff is amazing. The view of the lake is fabulous. The rooms are rustic but comfortable. The bathrooms are updated and I was able to control the temperature of the water in the shower without a degree in...

We stayed in May. The place is looked like big private property. After parking, we walked pass a few bldg.-look like a big house, to the restaurant at the back next to the lake. The reception is there. We got the room as we expected nice and spacious. One large bedroom with comfort living area, nice balcony and large bathroom....

We knew we wanted to find a place in the Alps to chill, and Lake Attersee is the place to be. We found Hotel Stadler via Trip Advisor and sent our request for a few nights. We lucked in with the warmest weather of the season, which made the cool lake (22 Celsius, or about 74 F) feel amazing. They...

Great accommodation: book a room with lakefront balcony. Great view. Great food. Breakfast on the veranda with lake view is awesome. Freshly squeezed orange juice and crispy bacon. Very nice family run business - I'll be back!

I saw a picture of this place online and booked it on a whim. The views and the hospitality were spectacular. The food for the evening meal was some of the best food on our 2 week trip to Europe. Sauna house was clean and has everything. Awesome place!

Fantastic hotel, fantastic friendly people. Right on the lake and ferry point, own beach, rowboat, pedalos and pontoonand steps down into the lake. Lots of loungers and fab places to sit around the lake. Great walking and cycling straight from the hotel. Bus stop right by the hotel. Very peaceful. We have just been in April, obviously will be a...

If you are ever lucky enough to be in the Attersee lake district I highly recommend this hotel. From the welcome to departure we could not fault anything about our time here. We were even able to extend our stay with the wave of a hand. The breakfast choices will satisfy the most fastidious food pickers. The views/vista's are jaw...
