Our family of 5 stayed in the tree suite suite at Saraii and absolutely loved it. It's one of the new ones (actually called New Tree) and it feels like a duplex apartment in a tree. It was super spacious, good comfy beds and even 2 bathrooms! The mosquito nets were very good and there were ropes to secure your...

Amazing tree house. It was my first time to sleep in a tree house and was exciting. The staff is very friendly and helpful specially the housekeeping guy named prasad, we went to the pottery place it was a great experience and the lake is also close by. I recommend this place if you are a nature lover. Hope to...

I'll start with the good things...the tree house suite was lovely and rustic, but if you're looking for 5 star luxury in your glamping experience, then this isn't for you. It's all open so there's a lack of privacy in some areas of the suite, and you have to expect bugs and noises in the night. There was a mossie...

We were given apparent discount from $300 pn to $72 on Agoda for this place, which sounded awesome. We booked it in expecting it to deliver the standards of the initial price however it really only just scraped over the line at the sale price. Mud chalet was nice enough, though the mozzie nets need work as we woke with...

The Yoga retreat at Saraii Village with Yoga Teacher Serena provided the most refreshing and holistic experience a yoga retreat can offer and in natural surroundings – very many happy memories and beautiful moments to carry forward to my own practice as a Yoga Teacher cum student. The tree huts were spacious, light and comfortable and allowed for sufficient privacy...

I came here for a 4 night, 5 day yoga retreat with my daughter. We stayed in a Treehouse Suite which was just delightful. Very rustic but comfortable and it was a real novelty to be essentially outside the whole time, the treehouse being open at the sides. There was of course a very good mosquito net over the bed...

I stayed at Saraii in January for the yoga retreat. My instructor Anna was both patient and efficient in dragging my old bod back onto the floor so to speak! It was a great 4 days and I enjoyed all that the package offered including massages, breakfast at sunrise by the lake, dinner bbq by the open fire, yoga and...

I booked a 4 day yoga and meditation retreat at Saraii Village and had a wonderful time. I flew in to Colombo and had transportation arranged from there. I didn't realize the trek would take about 5-6 hours but I just enjoyed the scenery along the way. The hotel itself was lovely. I stayed in a mud shack and enjoyed...

I heard about the place from various sources and wanted to go and see for my self because of this buzz. I am not sure because of that my expectations were high and i saw lot of areas which does not go according to the concept and how things can be improved. Overall i like the silence. But it was...

We stayed at Saraii Village for 1 night and had booked the loft tree house. For 180€ per night one can expect a certain standard which the tree house does not meet. Although it is nicely furnished it is simple and a bit run down and the houses are so close together that one has no privacy. For breakfast we...
