We booked a treehouse-stay and jungle safari through Lal Nandika including bbq dinner and breakfast. The treehouse was amazing, it had all the modern comforts (even a hairdryer) and a bathroom with a stunning view. The food was delicious, and more than we could have ever eaten, the chef was very friendly and polite. The safari was everything we hoped...

The tree houses are amazing. Very rustic but it all adds to their charm. We had a great nights sleep here - very peaceful. The safari was excellent and the guide was really knowledgeable, kind and helpful. He got us to the best spots first and we even saw a leopard with a kill. The owner, Sampath, and all of...

I've never written a trip advisor review before but was so disappointed by my stay here, I had to write to warn others This place is rustic - and that's absolutely fine if it was cheap. But it's not. I paid 100USD to stay on my own for one night in a small treehouse. You could stay in a mid...

Nice place to visit. There are some improvements should follow as a tourist hotel. Appuhami maamaa is briliant person & staff should give priority to the guest requirements. If fallow the above basic things they can do big hospitality in their place.

Very rustic. For those who enjoy the natural setting, this is perfect. The tree house is set in a jungle setting and still has the neccesary accommodations. The food is also great, we tried local food which was delicious. Eating by a campfire was also a nice experience. The safari inside Yala was also good. Even though we couldn't spot...

This is a very unique homestay located right next to the boundary of Yala national park. The drive from the treehouse to the entrance gates is literally five minutes so you couldn't be closer. Sampath (the owner) is an incredibly friendly man and runs the homestay on behalf of his family. We stayed here for two nights and went on...

Lovely guy who knew his stuff and works hard to make sure you feel at home. Good food and plenty of it. Not luxurious but you are in a tree so it works. Watch out for cool squirrels and enjoy the peculiar hanging chair. Safari was well organised and fun.

It was bit raining. Climbing and descending not easy with Umbrellas as wind not allow you to hold on to railings. Please very calm and quite. Staff not professional. Not cared your actual requirement but taken as you are a casual customer. Food has to be ordered in advance. They buy and prepare. In a way it's healthy as you...

The treehouse is very much worth the effort getting to. For one thing the property lies adjacent to the Yala National Park so you are at one with nature. I advise having the owner Mr Sampath pick you up in nearby Tissamaharama rather than trying to find the place yourself. But if you are feeling adventurous it is accessed along...
