We stayed 10 nights on a powered site at this lovely park that had a beautiful view of the water and curious cows out the back. The park is immaculate and you even have your own dump point and garbage bin which is a real luxury. The amenities were spotless and modern and we were allowed to bring our 4...

We based ourselves here for 2 nights to explore George Town and its surroundings. Great park, clean ammenities, friendly helpful staff, playground for the kids, great bike track. We did the Low Head Penguin Tour which was amazing..the penguins walked right up to us. We also visited The Bass and Flinders Centre, The Pilot Museum and The Old Watch House...

We stumbled on this lovely park, originally planning on staying 1 night. We ended up staying 8 nights. The park is well maintained, amenities are spotless. The park is in close proximity to Beaconsfield and Platypus and Seahorse worlds as well as only 40 mins from Launceston. Congratulations Paul and Sarah you are doing a great job.

We checked in for one night. This is our 8th. I cant bear to leave the amazing outlook. The park is immaculately maintained with the best amenities. The managers are so nice and helpful. We overlook the Tamar River with leisure craft and cargo ships. At the rear are paddocks of sheep and cattle. Sooo relaxing but also a place...

We only booked for one night's stay. Others on TripAdvisor had said this was the best and nearest place to put up after catching the penguin parade 10 minutes' drive away. Glad for the good recommendation by others! Our cabin had one room with a queen bed and two bunks along the corridor to the room. The kitchen was fully...

Thank you Kim for your wonderful review and was more than happy to have assisted. Glad to hear you enjoyed the Penguin Tour. The Penguin Tour times do vary, being around 5:30 -6 pm during the winter months and 8:30-9pm during the summer months. The meeting place for the Penguin Tour is only a short 3.7 km drive away. Simple sites (sealed pad and grass area) Very clean amenities and friendly staff. We only stayed one night, but it's very close to the penguin tours which was very convenient. Best value for a campsite we've seen in 2 months in Australia. 24$ for a non powered site!! Happy travels.

Low Head Tourist Park offers both cottages and cabins, and we were staying in a cabin as a family of five so this review should definitely be read with that in mind! The cottages looked lovely. The cabin we were in was definitely a little old and tired and with five of us it was a tight fit. The kids...

Excellent Caravan Park, good central location for day tripping. Very close to Georgetown for shops, restaurants etc. Good amenities with the exception of the Camp kitchen, way to small & not encouraging for people to interact otherwise excellent.

Thank you John for your review and glad to hear you enjoyed our park and sightseeing our beautiful region. We do have future plans to extend the camp kitchen but it is not a priority at the moment as it serves it function quite well for now. Our undercover BBQ area is a much bigger communal space with plenty of...

We stayed using the powered site for our camper van, but all the facilities were spotless, better than any other place we have stayed. The cabins look great from the outside, but the cleanliness of the shared kitchen tells the story of what is inside. The shared bathroom fixtures are the expensive Kohler brand and although the buildings seems to...
