Five friends and I stayed at the lovely Château de Blomac at the end of a several-day bike trip along the Canal de Midi. We could not have asked for a more perfect finale. I shared extensive email communication with the owner before we arrived. She graciously offered to serve us dinner even though they don't usually do so on...

Chateau de Blomac breathes France! It's a beautiful property in a small, charming village. Facilities are great (rooms, pool, breakfast). Very hospitable owners! Ideal for lovers of good food and wine :)

The Chateau provided the perfect spot for a relaxing week in the French Countryside. Coupled with its central location just less than 30 minutes from the historic City of Carcassonne. The accommodation was first-class, family friendly and reasonably priced for these large rooms and pool facilities. The homely atmosphere and evening dinners will be a lasting memory of our visit...

We arrived at Chateau de Blomac after a long drive to be warmly welcomed by Jacqueline who showed us to our enormous room. The room, the Blanchefort, had twin beds and some really interesting antique style furniture with enough room left to have a game of tennis! The contrast in style to the modern and bright bathroom was appealing. We...

This is simply the most amazing place to visit. The chateaux and its grounds are stunning. The rooms are decadent and luxurious. Everything throughout was spotless. We quickly felt relaxed and comfortable. All we wanted to was hang out all day enjoying the facilities and lazing the time away. It was so peaceful and relaxing and with 3 kids that's...

My wife and myself spent here one night on our way from Carcassonne. It was a totally different experience in comparison to the "normal" hotels where we use to stay. The welcome was very personal and the room was huge, including the very high ceiling, giving a real filing of being in a palace. On the other hand the bathroom...

We stayed here for one night on our way to visiting Carcassonne. We were given a very warm welcome by Jacqueline and quickly felt at home. The evening meal, all sitting round together, was highly enjoyable and the breakfast offered was generous and very tasty. Although obviously historically interesting, the rooms at the Chateau have been modernised to give you...

We are a family of four including two teenage boys and stayed for 5 days in this lovely chateau set in beautiful grounds in a quiet village. Spacious tastefully designed bedrooms. Excellent clean salt water swimming pool which we often had to ourselves. Extremely helpful and accommodating hosts in Jacqueline and Fred, with the option of table d'hote meals on...

My wife, I and 3 young children have just returned from 5 days staying at Chateau Blomac having loved every minute of it. The accommodation was beautifully presented, the welcome was warm and we immediately felt at home in Jacqueline and Fred's home. The communal meals prepared by Jacqueline were fantastic, some of the nicest meals we had in the...

CASH ONLY Accepted. CHECK IN 1600 hours and order dinner the day before. Please do not question this and make comments about the last time you had to pay cash was in a Youth Hostel in Mogadishu or note that the Peage takes credit cards. Or you will end at the top and back of the building up two long...
