but I could imagine staying longer. The room was perfectly clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast delicious, Sandrine and her family as nice as can be. As a base from which to go cycling or hiking (or in the winter cross-country skiing), I can only imagine it would be perfect. We only needed a place to spend the night and...

Ok, firstly I never write reviews, although I use them all the time when booking or going places. I suppose for me I need to be blown away by what I get, its too easy to see the negative and not the positive. We are a family of three (one 16yr included). Anyway, we dont speak French, we've never stayed...

As New Zealanders wanting to spend time exploring places associated with New Zealand's involvement in World War 1 this centenary year, we really could not have found a better base than this farm. A two and a half hour drive from Charles de Gaulle Airport if you have just arrived, and you will find yourself in an absolutely lovely setting...

Lovely decoration in the room, we enjoyed looking at the farm animals and...

Certainly quiet and rural, and reached by the farm road only (unmetalled), but it did mean we saw partridge and hares along the way. It is a great place for walkers, but after the rain of the 2013/14 winter, only wellington boots would do, and we hadn't packed those. Nonetheless, the gite was everything described with a wonderfully comfortable double...

Sandrine and Jose certainly made us welcome and offered us plenty of helpful advice. We had a delightful evening meal with them on the first night and drinks and nibbles with other guests on a later evening. The cottage was charming and Sandrine has a good eye for decoration thereby making the cottage feel very homely. Fanny, the farm dog,...
