We were a bit concerned as when we called the hotel to enquire about local transport we were informed that no one there spoke English. However when we arrived there were...

The photos do not do this ryokan justice, it is BEAUTIFUL. We stayed in deluxe Japanese room 201 which was delightfully appointed with an unforgettable view of Fuji-San. The staff were extremely helpful and polite and the onsen was very nice, with a sauna and hot pool outside under bamboo. It had a lovely garden and we'll priced gift shop....

We stayed in a small and old western room that facing the lake. We don’t feel good to sleep on the bed. The outdoor onsen is very small. But both the breakfast and dinner are good. I think we should choose to stay in a Japanese room instead of western room.

As our trip was all about Mt Fuji, we picked a room with mountain view and we were not disappointed. Food quality is good, and we...

“Rooms on both sides have great views. If it is cloudy you cant see Fuji so a lake view is not a bad option especially in Winter.”
