A beautiful modern Ryorkan, both traditional and European style rooms available with extremely friendly staff who catered for my needs even having the hotel shuttle drop me off close to a hiking trail and offered to pick me up at a specified time. Very minimal English is spoken here but the staff tried their hardest which is very appreciated, it's...

The hotel is located on the top of a small mountain. Mount Fuji can be seen at the restaurant and some of the rooms. Rooms are in Japanese-style with Tatami. However, private bathroom and toilet in equipped in each room. The breakfast is in Japanese-style with many small dishes and it was great. Enjoyed the breakfast with the view of...

We booked this hotel at the last minute and was only looking for a place to sleep. The place was better than we expected. We had a tatami room which was clean and nice window view overlooking the garden. The onsen (hot spa) was good too. We didn't get the breakfast/dinner set but I will recommend the breakfast especially if...

This is a great hotel if you would like to try a real japanese experience. You can decide to sleep in a japanese style room on a tatami and take a traditional bath, wearing a robe supplied by the hotel a Yukata. And remember no shoes allowed. After you arrive you can refresh yourself with a hot bath and prepare...

A good comfortable place facing Mt Fuji. Bicycle rental for cycling the 11 km across L. Yamanakako is fun. Plenty of scenery and fresh clean air. Best time to visit is spring during flowering season or in autumn.

Room was nice and comfy. The view of Mt Fuji was magnificent especially from the restaurant where we had our breakfast and dinner. Hot pool was normal, not something for someone shy as it is a public shower area.(I think they have rooms with private showers). More for relaxation. Slow paced environment.
