We were traveling with friends from Barcelona to San Sebastian and opted for the northern route to see some French castles and a glimpse of the Pyrenees. We arrived in Quillan after dark, so we were not really able to see the hotel until the next day. Both couples had clean, comfortable rooms with twin beds. The fact that the...

The La Chaumiere was recommended by friends. The picture on the website looks nicer than the actual hotel. However, it seems that this place has more character than most others in Quillan. We were greeted by an older lady at the reception. She was very friendly and welcoming. There was also an older gentleman in the foyer who must have...

I visited in July with my parents. My room was comfy, the en-suite was modern and impressive. Each morning a vast array of foods were provided for breakfast. We had an evening meal in the hotel restaurant twice during our stay. Both of these experiences were wonderful. Oliver and Loane were extremely helpful and very patient with non- French speakers....

it was a well sized room on the lane way side of the property. It had aircon. It smelt of smoke and this stayed with us the whole time. There also must have been a sewage prob as the smell was strong in the hallways each morning. You are greeted by a male who sits in the foyer most of...

We have stayed here 3 times, the most recent being August 2014. Once again we had a very comfortable room which was kept beautifully clean. The air conditioning was most welcome in the summer heat. The ensuite bathroom was a good size and modern. We were also delighted that there is now free wifi available in the rooms. We did...

We stopped in Quillan for a night in July 2014 and spent it here. The standard of the rooms took us by surprise as the facade and reception of the hotel wasn't as modern. Big rooms, big bathroom, comfortable beds (a bit on the hard side), aircondition and a small french balcony. For an extra fee you can park in...

We booked this hotel for a night whilst on a roadtrip in France and Spain. We popped out to visit friends who live in the area and got back around 11.30pm to find the hotel barred and bolted up for the night. We tried knocking on the doors to no avail and it was by pure chance we tried the...

Large room with balcony, asked for a twin and was given a triple. Unlike most beds in France this was not too firm which made for one of the best nights sleep out of 5 nights we stayed in France, didnt try the food as wanted to explore the area but wish we had. Its a family run hotel and...
