Our room was clean, bright and roomy with gorgeous views, pristine bed linen and a fabulous shower. Staff were super helpful and kind. Our room included a separate room with washer, dryer and hanging space which meant that after our ski holiday we set off to see the rest of Japan with everything clean. Also a well equipped galley kitchen with hob and microwave. Ski-in ski-out right to the ski locker room with tall lockers to store skis and boots, complementary coffee and easy access loos. After a day's skiing sitting outside in the steaming onsen was a complete treat and was included in the Vale rate. We had some fabulous and surprisingly good value shiatsu based massage. Breakfast was a choice of 3 restaurants, Japanese, Global Buffet and Chinese. The Vale is linked to the resort by corridors and escalators which means that it is possible to reach ski hire, lift tickets, shops and restaurants without putting on outdoor clothing. Everything is super convenient. The Vale reception staff couriered a suitcase to Narita for about 3500 Yen saving us from carrying ski equipment around for the rest of the holiday. We loved the Shinkansen with a Japan Rail Pass. As for the skiing at Rusutsu, the snow was fantastic, there were no queues, other skiers and boarders kept clear, the lifts were fast, clean and well staffed. The runs were consistent and well managed. The most relaxing and enjoyable skiing holiday ever experienced. I'll never want to ski anywhere else now.

Customer service was great, rooms were spotless, stylishly furnished & had all the necessary amenities. Our kids loved all the restaurant and shop options around the area. The ski-in ski-out is perfect and hassle free! Make sure to book this property through The Luxe Nomad. They’re super helpful and make all the planning a breeze!

This was the first skiing season for us after a respite of three years. We had had great expectations for this ski-in-ski-out hotel and we were not disappointed. The hotel is located at an exclusive spot in the north of the Rusutsu resort, offering great privacy as well as easy access to the ski runs. Our room overlooks the forest. Spacious and well-designed, the room is equipped with an open kitchen, laundry machine and tumble dryer. The hotel is very close to the Kotobuki Onsen shared by other guests of the Rusutsu resort. There's an outdoor pool in the Onsen, which I enjoyed very much after skiing. When we checked in, the male receptionist gave us a lot of infomation patiently. On the whole, I'm very satisfied with their services. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to my friends. We paid about US$460 per night.

まだ、知名度が低くて、空いているので気に入ってます。設備完備で、長期滞在に最適です。夏場は車がないと、リゾート以外の外食場所の選択肢が限られるのが難点かな。 It is now in 2nd winter and still not well known. Very quite, but it is a hotspot as it is connected with Rusutsu resort Hot springs and you can use all the facilities there. As being the only condominium in this area, it has everything needed like a dishwasher, washing machine etc and ideal for long stay. In summer, the eating out places in walking distance are limited just one or two except Rusutsu resort. In winter you don’t have to worry about that since there are more than five that I can think of.

Great location, fantastic view of East Mountain and Mount Isola, great cafe with complimentary morning coffee. The room is so nice and high tech, comes with heated window, but personally didn't need it cos it made the room too hot but good for people who likes a very warm room. The control is a bit too difficult to understand so just switching it on and off was the only option. The ski locker area can do with a few improvements, such as adding mirrors at the end of the lockers opposite the benches. Also the lockers seems a little weirdly design as it was not sure how a snowboard or skis should be stored correctly as the shelves inside prevent you from storing them vertically, also it's a bit difficult to store a snowboard and a pair of skis in the same locker. There is also the issue of the melting snow from the equipment forming a large pool of water inside and outside of the locker. May be providing some brush or air jets by the entrance to get the snow off equipment before storing could help.

Stayed there for a ski holiday. I visited Rusutsu many times before and I always enjoy the mountain but staying at the vale rusustu made the whole holiday even better. The hotel is condominium style. I stayed in 1 bedroom premium suite. it had slid door to separate the living room/kitchen area and the bedroom area so it's feels open and spacious but also could use as individual rooms which I liked. Love the big window! could see beautiful rusustu view in the bedroom and living room. Even tho it was on 3rd floor, the hotel it self has higher elevation so nothing is blocking the view. The hotel doesn't have restaurants or any other facilities in the hotel building only one cafe and a ski room. but it has connected corridor to rusustu resort so the access wasn't an issue. Free access to the onsen and It's so nice. Beautiful outside onsen, various indoor pools, sauna, very spacious and modern. I liked it! Overall I enjoyed my time here staffs were very kind and helpful.

The rooms are just the right size, stylishly furnished with all the necessary amenities. The connected onsen is a great feature, and the location of ski-in ski-out is perfect. The staff are super friendly. Preparing for skiing can be quite stressful (all the necessary stuff, staying warm, walking with boots and skis, etc etc), but staying here helps to overcome pretty much all those hassles.
