We chose rusutsu for its varied activities for the family esp children. We arrived on 2/12 and are disappointed when we arrived to know that many facilities/restaurants are not available during our stay period. There were only 2 ski lifts open (out of what is like 10), 2 restaurants, and all snow activities like snow mobiles, dog sled are not...

This large resort hotel is ski-in, walk out. Facilites are a bit dated, and restaurants are a long walk from the rooms. Lay out is all over the shop, often required to walk 3 times as far to get from A-B. Restaurants aren't cheap and a bit hit and miss. Not many vegetarian options and often add dried Bonito Tuna...

The hotel is huge but very efficiently managed and the staff are attentive and competent. The rooms are comfortable and there is a range of eating options. Many rooms have views. There is a short walk (about 200 metres) to the first ski lift and afterwards you can ski to the doors of the hotel. Excellent ski lockers are provided...

I stayed at this hotel with my family for one night, as part of a package tour. The hotel itself is pretty clean, but quite old. The elevators are pretty confusing; to get to the 8th floor, you need to take one elevator to the 7th floor and walk down the corridor to take another one for the higher levels....

The hotel has everything you want especially for the family with kids. Both outside and indoor pools have big slides but kids have to be over 130cm. (That also applies to many of the rides at the amusement park so my youngest couldn't do many things.) Both pools don't have rental towel services so needed to use the towel from...

Because this hotel looks like being made from the lodge, south wing, east wing, and north wing, the buildings are older from lodge to north wing. The hotel's area is so big. So we had to walk more than fifteen minutes to go to the amusement park from the north wing, more than ten minutes to the activity counter, almost...

Everything you need for your spring snowboard adventure all in on site. Shuttles from the airport drop you off at the front of the hotel. Friendly staff and delicious meal options. I highly recommend the crab buffet and the coffee shop for some dessert and a beverage to recharge after some time on the slopes. Comfortable rooms with views of...

Superb ski resort. Ski-to-door, nice hotel, love the mini-train, buffets are gorgeous, powder snow, magical ambience near Christmas time. Not cheap but valueformoney as the quality is SUPERB. Ski rental could be better but otherwise EXCELLENT.

We visited in Winter season, and this time, Summer season. Totally different experience and view. In the winter time, we did not even make it outside of the resort since the snow was one meter high. Ergo, we did not know what the grounds look like. All we saw was snow, snow, snow. In Summer time, everywhere we look is...

We had a wonderful experience during our 4 days in Hokkaido. It was an amazing stay! The hotel rooms are clean, food choices are great - our agent was able to arrange a meal option within and next to the resort. The staff are nice specially the concierge - I met some friends like Keita, Daiki and a lady. They...
