Beautiful place! Tom and his wife are the best people. They prepared our cabin for our late check-in. Everything was so clean and neat! In the morning we had the best home made breakfast. It was fresh and full of fruits. Their home made granola is delicious.

We stayed here last summer and forgot to post a review. (July.2020) We stayed here for 3 nights and it was amazing. The owner was very helpful and suggested some places as we chatted to him about where we had planned to hike. We brought our own little bbq and had suppers on it. We stayed in the cabin at the very end which we found to be the most private. The breakfast was delish! highly recommend. We also got some muffins for the road which were also amazing. Because this property is near the woods be sure to bring bug spray just in case. Loved our stay!!!

My husband and I stayed here during our trip on the Cabot trail. Check in was easy no contact check in and cabin was very clean and he even gave us cleaning stuff like brooms etc. Ton was the owner and even though he wasn't there at the time we went, he kept in contact with us the whole time! Excellent service. The cabin was super cozy and just what we wanted it to be. Simple beds ,heater and some lamps. True Glamping experience. There is a comfort station with your private bathrooms with lock and keys as well. At night the sky was super dark we got to see all the stars and even the milky way. Gorgeous! There's even a beach which we went on when we were there it was too cool to have bonfire but you could of if you wanted! They accept pets and even have a cat that goes around to greet you ! There is also a restaurant on site. Would definitely come back! This little cabin was something we will always remember on our trip for sure!

We stayed one night at the Dancing Moose, a lovely wooden cabin situated just off the main road tucked away in the trees. Lovely clean cabin, short walk to the rest room we had our own shower room/wc which you had a key to access so no one else could use. The cabin was basic but comfortable. We paid a little extra for linen and towels. Very comfortable. You can walk through the back and onto a cobble beach. There are also seating areas outside your cabin and a picnic bench. We had breakfast the following morning, in the Dancing Moose cafe, eggs, bacon, toast & fresh fruit. Breakfast was really good and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

This place is right next to the ocean. You can see it from the cabin area and hear it whenever you’re outside. It’s only a 2 minute walk to the rocky beach with spectacular views of headlands in both directions. If you’re there at the right time in the morning you can see the lobster boats working right offshore. ZzzzMoose is a great “glamping” experience. The wooden “tents” are tight and comfortable, the bathrooms are small, but clean and functional (every tent gets it’s own private one). Breakfast is awesome! The Dutch Pannenkoeken are somewhat heartier versions of crepes and can be filled or topped with whatever you want, be it sweet, savory, or some of each! Finally there’s the owner. Ton is literally the chief cook and bottle washer at ZzzzMoose. He takes care of everything you might need from bringing your sheets and towels to cooking the pannenkoeken. And he does it all while treating you not so much like a hotel guest as a friend who came to stay with him for a while. Stay at ZzzzMoose if you can. You won’t regret it!
