Lovely meal, food and service excellent . At last we have a decent place to eat in the area. We were a large party and the staff were lovely and everyone enjoyed their meals . Lovely home made fresh produce. Comfortable cosy surroundings.

My new wife and I were gifted a 'wowcher' for the Alyth Hotel which at first glance appeared too good to be true but...........we had our overnight stay during the middle of December when the infamous Alyth Burn was alight with Christmas decorated lighting, as was the rest of the village. The welcome by ''the man'' (David Coupar) was warm...

My wife and I got a great value wowcher for the Alyth Hotel. Sometimes you think a deal seems too good to be true and find out to your cost you were right. Not on this occasion. I cannot fault the hotel in any way. Fabulous welcome and friendly service. Lovely piping hot food and very generous portions. Rooms nice...

The hotel very kindly let my elderly mother & I who were caught short traipse in & use their (spotless!) hotel toilets. We weren't guests and didn't even have time to have a meal there but they were friendly and welcoming. Nice people and if they show that kindness to non-customers I'm sure they are equally hospitable to paying guests!...

We had a very large room overlooking the river. It was warm comfortable and the bed was great. Had every facility we needed, but wi-fi not that brilliant in room. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Both the evening meal and breakfast. They are trying very hard to bring the decor up to date, after being flooded...

Stopped at Alyth Hotel for Sunday lunch today. We were welcomed by a very friendly host who showed us to our table, in pleasant surroundings, and served us attentively during our meal. We both ordered drinks and the roast belly of pork. I can only say it was excellent. Overall, a first class experience at a very reasonable cost.
