I last stayed here 30 odd years ago and had little recollection other than I had a very pleasant stay. What a surprise on my return - the memories flooded back the with that comfortable and welcoming feeling. Our room was spacious and equipped with all mod cons including a nice big 48 inch telly Dinner exceeded all our expectation with food well presented with friendly and efficient service This was an hotel that made us feel very at home and a real desire to return

My wife and I stayed at this hotel whilst travelling through the region. This hotel is up there with the best. Great value, great food & great atmosphere in a relaxed period setting. Our dinner was perfect and the service was quietly efficient. Must visit

I originally visited this hotel some six years ago to sadly attend a funeral tea, and remembered the striking entrance hall and the delicious food. Last Friday was a last minute get away for three of us in rooms eight and nine, and we are all so glad we went. The hotel is very relaxing, the staff are charming, the rooms are super comfy, and the dinner and breakfast was simply delicious. A million thanks to Xhosa Howell and all her team for looking after us so well, and I'm sure if you do visit, you won't be disappointed. Exceptional customer service and value for money too. All best wishes, the Aberdeen brigade.
