This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place which serves beautiful food. What more needs to be said?! I have done a couple of weddings here (I am a minister) and have also eaten as a guest here several times. The last was a Christmas lunch which was magnificent. The best prawn cocktail I have ever had, superbly cooked... More

Hard to put into words how lovely this hotel is so I will keep it simple. From the location to the hotel, rooms, food, staff you cannot fault anything at all. We have never been made so welcome, felt so comfortable and relaxed in a hotel before. The food & service was truly amazing. And the fact it was done... More

I treated my husband to a weekend stay for his birthday. There was a wedding on in the afternooon, and a big birthday party, but we still felt as if we were particularly special guests - despite being busy, none of the staff seemed to be too busy to look after us. It's a wonderful hotel in a superb location.... More

A beautiful building in a stunning location, but the interior is even more delightful. We greatly enjoyed sitting in the large lounge and the service was great. The dining room was gorgeous and the food was just wonderful. We didnt want to leave.

This property is like stepping back to a time of grand hunting lodges. Fireplace always going. Tea time delightful and the dinners.... truely representing the ambience and elegance of a forgotten time.

We ate in the hotel which was served in a small dining room, dinner was lovely and catered for our needs (something special to celebrate a birthday). Service was attentive but... More

This is a gem of a hotel, set in a beautiful rural location. With its echoes in decor, style and ambience of an almost forgotten time, we felt as if we had travelled to another era and another place. It is a quite unique place to stay. Our room was comfortable with views over to the hills. The staff were friendly... More

We stayed at Lands of Loyal over Halloween as we were visiting other attractions in the area. The hotel is just outside the village of Alyth, easy to find via car and sat nav. Parking was quite subscribed but there was a spot round the back where we were greeted by a friendly cat. The lounge is stunning and is... More

Stayed with group of friends for one night with dinner. Road to the hotel needs some attention as pointed out before, it does affect the feeling before arrival... House is lovely, a little too warm in the rooms but cant be easy regulating heating in old property. Beds very comfy. Nice bar and drinks selection. Dinner had large portions, good... More
