This place was lovely. A great location a few minutes walk from the lifts. We came from Tokyo and stopped by the snow monkeys on the way. The owner was great giving me details of how to get there by bus, including the great to to leave our luggage at the museum which is right outside the bus stop. They...

I'm most impressed by the first class service provided by all the staffs. It made us felt very welcomed and assured that we are being taken care of in a foreign country. The good service started when we are enquiring about the place through email. Yuichi-san responded very fast to us. He provided good suggestions for us when we were...

Recently stayed for 4 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment (tatami rooms with ensuite) Very comfortable, great location. Would definitely recommend for a family. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Booked through Japan Snow Accommodation, also very helpful.

Stayed in a Japanese style room, for 5 nights late Feb/early March. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, and attentive. We had no problems at all with language barriers, as the reception staff (owners?) spoke english. The rooms were clean, and in our case seemed huge (there were ony two of us, but it could have easily fit...

Stayed here for a weekend trip to snowboard on Kurohime Kogen. It was my first time staying at a traditional Japanese hotel and I could not have had a better experience. It is only a 2 minute walk from the slopes and relatively easy to access. The room was a decent size for 2 people and was extremely clean. There...

Great Japanese style hotel. Extra futon mats in the room, so sleeping on a tatami floor was very comfortable. Clean and spacious rooms, hot showers, good food and cozy lounge area. The fireplace in the lounge area is a great place to gather with other guests, relax and meet new friends. Super close to ski areas, and free shuttle bus...

When your done for the day skiing, you can ski around from the back to the front door. Hotel is nice - convenience store, restaurant/bar, ski lockers...

We are an Australian family of five (kids aged 6 - 13). Stayed Jan 2015. We had two rooms side by side. Room size is very large for Japan, and although each individual futon is thin, they can easily be layered - we had several extras in our room so could probably have had up to 5 each if we...

Just like other first time travellers/skiers to Shiga Kogen, I spent a lot of time studying reviews and had to decide which town I should stay around Shiga Kogen area. I decided to stay in Ichinose, which is luckily a good choice for me and ideally situated in the middle of the mountain range of Shiga Kogen. Prince West Wing...

6 friends stayed here in February. The welcome was warm, the rooms were very satisfactory - we had Japanese style rooms which all came with a toilet, but no shower. The prices are very reasonable. There was a ground floor onsen/ bath, which was usually not too busy, and was quite sufficient. The rooms were quite large, with good views...
