Stayed here with my husband and our 2 labradors. Owner was really friendly and showed us to our room which had a door onto the garden that we could let the boys use (as long as we cleaned up after them of course!) Garden wasn't enclosed but fine to be off the lead if supervised. Room was comfortable - shower...

I am there right now, got held up on the M6 so arrived quite late. I can't praise this place enough, the rooms are so clean and comfortable and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The views out the back are great and you are within walking distance to an array of bars and restaurants. looking forward to breakfast😃

Stayed for 1 night whilst meeting up with friends, at local beer festival. Booked a treble room which was very spacious, clean and had great views over the garden and the hills beyond. There was plenty of room to park and in easy walking of Marple Bridge. The place has plenty of character, and the breakfast in the morning was...

Fantastic view from Room 2 - friendly, family type. Asked if they did evening meal and they obliged with a full on meal which was excellent. Would highly recommend this location and property - Its old and quaint and nothing is too much to ask during your stay

The room was delightful and the view out the main window was lovely. The staff was service oriented and very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was terrific with a nice variety. The location is quite convenient to Marple shopping, the train station, the canal for beautiful walks and there were a number of good restaurants within walking distance, 15 minutes,...

Stayed for a short break and to visit relatives. Location perfect for walking plus city exploring. Older house with lots of character. Relaxed welcoming atmosphere especially as we had a dog. Very clean room with bathroom and good breakfast. Family run and owner had plenty of good general knowledge about the local area which we found helpful. Plenty of parking....

My mum and I stayed here this weekend, the building is old and quirky which I loved. Plenty of parking and the breakfast is fab, we had a cooked breakfast the first day and cereals and yogurts with fruit the next. Great view from room 3

I'm really in a quandary about this place. Lorraine the proprietor is charming and helpful. The guest house itself quite quirky and very clean. Sorry Spencer but I have to make some negative comments and so suck it in. It's called opinion. The house has a constant smell of pork/gammon/bacon from the time you get up until the time you...

Clean room - old and homely setting..... well kept. Not my normal type of stay but none the less not at all bad. Car packing a bit limited, but available. A different experience than I expected from the advert (for the good). For the price I was happy and would say it is well supported. Owner / manager was welcoming...
