Went today with our two dogs. As a veggie I can't tell you how lovely my meal was, one of the best I've tasted. Nice friendly staff and customers. Wonderful beach and out of season it was easy to park. Will definitely go back again

We stayed here for two nights, taking in New Year's Eve, and had a very good time. Our room, Angorfa, was the only one unboooked when I rang up, so I reserved it quickly! It's at the back of the pub, so doesn't have a sea view. To be honest, the whole pub is almost in the sea anyway, so...

Visited the Pentre Arms on boxing day as a last minute getaway. It wasn't totally on a whim as friends of its had stayed many times and recommended it. In a nutshell, it's a well run pub, hotel and restaurant. Lots of local and real ales on tap with friendly Barr staff. Owner regularly inquired as to whether we were...

A very friendly hotel both in the very busy bar and the dining room. The selection of dishes was mouth watering and the staff went to great lengths to explain the menu. The staff and food was so good that we went there the five nights that we were there. Be warned that you may need to make a booking...

The sea views from the bar, restaurant or bedrooms at the front of Pentre Arms are breathtaking. We stayed for just one night and enjoyed the warm and friendly atmosphere of the bar and our room at the front, Ewyndon, was just perfect. The only slight drawback, hence 4 not 5, was the evening meal which was pretty ordinary. Sauces...

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a lovely room looking out on the sea - in fact, we kept the window and curtains open to hear the waves. Very peaceful and very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and a stunning location with a picture window in the bar overlooking the beach. Highly recommended and we will certainly...

The location could not be better, the most stunning views of the beach, friendly staff, limited choice of real ale, it's a shame that a Welsh pub has to sell Cornish beer! The food looks great but reality is very different. I had scampi, chips and peas, if blindfolded I couldn't have told you it was scampi on the plate,...

When you need to just get away from it all and re-charge those batteries this is the place to go. This is our 2nd time and it really hits the spot. The evening meal and breakfast were excellent as always no rushing just take your time and unwind. Well done folks and thank you.
