It's nice to visit a quaint little place like this where you can see the chefs at work. The produce is fresh and tasty. We had the deer meat which was cooked to perfection.. cos it is not an easy meat to cook. They even catered to my 5 year old whom I had to bring by offering her pumpkin...

For a 1-star Michelin restaurant, this place does NOT live up to the hype. We arrived on a rainy evening after driving 30 minutes from Niseko resort. Went for dinner and had the set. Lovely food. Beautifully presented. Worth a try if you are heading to this part of Niseko. The restaurant is lovely and set looking out to some trees and over to Grand Hirafu and the hills. Great place to come and be impressed by the food. Not the cheapest. Sets come between USD 100-130....

The nearer you get to the location of this amazing restaurant, the less you believe that there can be something truly worth visiting here in the back and beyond of Makkari. But believe me there is! Newly anointed as a Michelin 1-star establishment, this is a must-visit for people who love food. They offer lunch and dinner set menu options...
