Nice location outside the city but with a great view. Most everything you would expect from a Japanese hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I picked it because of the brewery across the parking lot. There is a Picasso museum next door.

Lovely ryokan rooms with a fantastic onsen. There was a lot of snow during our stay. The staff helped us dig out the car each day and the roads were cleared frequently making it easy to get into Iwanai. When the clouds cleared we had wonderful views of the mountains and ocean. Friendly helpful staff who made us very welcome.

Hotel is run by a family. The son speaks English and is extremely helpful. The owners are very friendly and gave advice and even made dinner reservations for us. Room is clean. Good price. Ample carpark. Hotel has onsen free for use by hotel guests. Good clean room. We stayed in bedroom with 3 beds. Spacious. Has heater. Hotel is found on top of a hill. It has nice scenery at night. Night view of Iwanai town is possible from our rooms. We enjoyed our stay.
