I stayed here for one full night to go snowboarding in Hakuba for two days. The hotel was very efficient at providing what I needed - I received a discount for nearby rental shops and the lift ticket (purchased on the day). The rental shop picked up my gear at the hotel and dropped off my regular boots there as...

The hotel is well located, not right in the town centre of Happo but fairly close, with restaurants in the area. There are 3 main villages that you can choose to stay at, Echoland, Happo & Wadano. We chose Happo as it was close to the bus terminal where we could walk to get a bus to any of the...

For a ryokan, this hotel is very affordable compared to others that I have tried. Room sizes are average. Room amenities is complete. They have an onsen with a great view (landscaped garden). It kinda gives you a feeling as if you're in an outdoor onsen. I brought my friends here because they wanted to try a hotel that has...

Staying here for a week with my adult son to celebrate my 70th birthday, I could not be happier with the hotel After 15 years of Niseko becoming glitzier each year, it is nice to get back to basics The owner/manager is great. Always there, always helping It's not luxury but it's comfortable and authentic

Like Hakuba, the hotel didn t receive an update after the Olympics, but was still nice to stay in. The Japanese room was big enough to cater 4 people, the onsen was basic but enough, food was good and the staff/owners very friendly. Note that it is not a very lively place and not well located for skiing, you need...

we arrived and was dropped off at the hakuba tourist info center where the hotel owner came by to pick us up (it was just a 3mins ride but we had alot of suitcases and snow was all over) hotel seems to be run by a family but they are clearly very very busy buzzling around from being reception to...

We had an awesome time at this hotel on Hakuba. The location is really central to get to the mountains (Hakuba 47 bus is right outside and happo is a 5 minute walk). Hakuba is full of great food and Restauraunts that are all close by to the hotel. The owner works so hard and we really appreciated all he...

Value for a Japanese room. The onsen is great in the basement. The owners are wonderful. The breakfast is a great value. Great ski town hotel feel. The free pickups and help was helpful as well. I will be back for sure.

Good hotel to stay at very friendly staff that will do anything to help, very close to everything and has a bus stop for Hakuba 47 literally right out the front. Traditional style hotel that is warm and inviting I would recommend if you're coming to Hakuba to snowboard

Not easy to find, but that is the only flaw. Once you know the location it is actually very central and well positioned, walking distance to the ski slopes or the village centre. The hotel is Japanese style (futons, taking shoes off at the reception area etc.), exceptionally clean with its own public spa at the basement. If you can...
