Nice place good food good vibe and great location. But inconsistent snow in Jan so go to Niseko or come in Feb or Mar. Also learn some Japanese as very useful in lovely local town. And book open onsen next door as soon as you arrive. Hope you have suggest stay and please ski safe

My Girlfriend and I stayed here for just over a week in January 2016 and we had a fabulous time. This was my second visit to Hakuba and we had been a little down before coming as it hadn't been the greatest snow season so far for Japan. However all this was forgotten as we arrived after a long flight...

We loved our time at Hakuba House and will definitely return next time we are in Hakuba! Its a really comfortable lodge with helpful staff. The location is fantastic – you can ski in and ski out pretty much straight onto the Happo One mountain. The rooms are basic but with very comfortable beds. The showers have great water pressure....

We found the staff very accommodating, they were always happy to pick you up or drop you off somewhere. The room was clean and spacious, the bathroom did the job. The real highlight of the lodge is the communal lounge and bar area with pool table and a lovely fireplace. It was a great atmosphere to chill out and have...

The hotel is situated at the far end of Wadano, quite far from Happo, but that did not matter at all. The staff were very friendly and were more than happy to make us dinner reservations and then drive us to these restaurants. The proximity from Happo didn't matter, because we skied down the road, bought our lift tickets at...

Friendly and helpfull staff, good location near to sakka lift that you can easily ski down to in the mornings. The staff offered to take us everywhere in their shuttles. Theyd make a dinner reservation for us and then drive us down when the time came. The room was more than adequate and the heater worked perfectly. The fire in...

Unorganised when first arrived, didn't show for bus terminal pick up, room wasn't ready (3.30pm) and no lodge tour or any info given. Staff were OK but did not readily help. Room was good, everything you would expect from a lodge at this price. Bathroom is very small even by Japanese standards. Location is in Upper Wadano which is a...
