What a lovely hotel. A warm welcome and excellent service. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing stay, organising transport to other ski fields, arranging restaurant bookings and evening transport as well. They even sorted out return of rental equipment to save us having to take it back to the shop. Great equipment store...

We were a group of six and we had a very good time. The view on the slope at night is interesting, the staff is very friendly and efficient, the food is awesome, especialy the cheese fondue, the ambience is a bit retro but fits well with the atmosphere of the station. A must do before leaving Hakuba!

We had a friend book dinner here for us, 6 in total, and the food was amazing, as was the view across the hill for the fire festival. This place served the best rib eye, medium rare seasoned beautifully, I have had in Japan in 12 months and all for ¥3800 for 300gms! The salmon was also a hit at...

Wonderful place ! Had a lovely stay, really nice staff and owners, made you feel at home, wonderful meals and drinks. Nice and clean. Great location right at the base of a slope with easy access to the chair lifts, and ticket booth, close to nice restaurants, easy shuttle service.

Booked this hotel for the night skiing/ski in and ski out. We were unfortunate that there was not enough snow during the time that we were there, but I'm sure it would've been an amazing experience. Either way, we had a lovely stay there. The staff were great and very helpful with recommendations and pretty much anything else that you...

We stayed at Hotel Marillen in late Feb 2014. The room was great we had a beautiful view overlooking the slopes with a large balcony. Food at the hotel restaurant was quite good and the entertainment was 2 young Aussies on guitar and keyboard. They were great! The restaurant also has amazing views of the slopes.

Have just spent 5 days in this hotel and we have been pleasantly surprised. Rooms are more than comfortable although it may be time for a makeover soon. Great position right on the snow overlooking the night skiing area and easy access to the chairlift BUT if you are a light sleeper then beware of the grooming equipment which do...

Great location right on one of the mountains. The hotel had just opened for the season whe we arrived. We stayed in the quad room which was plenty big enough for the three of us. The bathroom was small but adequate. The view from the room was amazing. The drying room as adequate and they need to get more pegs...

I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights at the beginning of February 2015. Four of us adults shared a quad room. The room was fine with plenty of space albeit it had a small but adequate bathroom. There was no bar fridge but we had a balcony and with temperatures at zero or lower (and plenty of snow) we...
