I just can't say too many good things about this hotel. The only reason I didn't give five stars is while our room was comfortable and warm, it was small (expected), a little dated and it had a post fitted modular bathroom unit which further reduced the size of the room. However, there were so many positives about this hotel,...

I went to Hakuba for one day ski and stayed at Mominoki for one night. In general, this is a decent boutique hotel, but comparing to other ski hotels I visited in Japan (ie Niseko), Mominoki is average. Pros: - staff are super helpful in providing ski rental and shuttle information prior to my arrival. When I got there, they...

Our second time staying at Mominoki, this time with our 9 month old daughter. We were not disappointed the first time a few years ago and this stay was no different. From the time you check in you know that the staff are going to look after your every need. No request was too much for the staff to help...

This is an older hotel that is well maintained and has excellent staff. The rooms are clean and adequate - the beds are good which is important for everyone particularly after skiing all day. There is a good restaurant to eat at in the hotel which also serves breakfast and a couple more nearby which offer food variety. There is...

This hotel was a comfortable stay! The whole hotel had that ski resort feel and was warm and cosy. The room was nice with a very large bed but the bathroom was very basic! They also didn't have much in terms of room service or amenities. Luckily, their onsen baths made up for it! It was one of the best...

The Mominoki Hotel has a lovely lobby area to relax in, good location with Rhythm rentals 10 steps away and some great restaurants close by. Our room was a little old, but really all we required for our 8 nights. We arrived towards the end of the season, meaning restaurants and pubs were closing for the season which was a...

This is an older lodge hotel. We had a very tiny room but others in our party had more space to stretch out. Bathrooms are ensuite modular variety, functional but small. Hakuba does not have much apres ski activity, so the happy hour at the hotel became a central point for the group.

The hotel is a little old - and the room we had was a bit tired. It was fantastically warm though given the huge piles of snow outside. Loved the little fire in reception and the big one in the bar. The bar was shut at 10...and there are vending machines with beer for those who want to carry on...dead...

The Mominoki hotel was a great choice to stay with during our visit to Hakuba. While the room is small it was more than enough for us including our suitcases and snow gear. The beds and sheets were extremely comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Make sure you try the onsen and have a meal at Izakaya...

This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are large (standard room) with comfortable beds and great facilities. The bathrooms are what you will find in a lot of more traditional style japanese places which are great for retaining the warmth. The restaurant has allergy cards with each name tag which is great for coeliacs/gluten free as well as other allergies. I...
