Stayed 4 nights in Yamano Hotel in March. Our room was big and clean but very unmodern and worn out, for example there was stains on the walls, curtains and fabrics. Beds were a good size and comfortable. The bathroom had a deep bathtub and...More
We stayed 5 nights here and were looked after like family.........We were the "friends that jagged the better room" whooohooooo - Thanks Nicolle M.
Had a fabulous time, with a superb view of the 1998 Olympic Ski Jumps every afternoon with a frothy beverage.

Hi there, the nearest slope to kick off your day is about a 10 minute walk. We didn't take our kids with us (5 and 3 also) . If either Monica, Kato or one of the friendly staff can't take you, one of the ski schools will most likely pick you guys up. The staff here go out of their way to make you have the best stay possible. Not to mention the bus that stops near by to take you to whatever mountain you want to ski. We plan on taking our two back to hakuba, and will 100% be staying at Yamano.. Enjoy.
