Nice traditional rooms, clean common area, washing machine available. Breakfast is sufficient, rice pastries tea etc. Train station is just 10mins walk, supermarkets and restaurants are very close. Stuff is very helpful and friendly. If i go next time will choose again for sure!

We arrived later than expected but the staff made sure we could enter past the reception closure time- we were so thankful for this. There is a lovely courtyard garden and breakfast is fantastic (Japanese and continental). In walking distance to the train station.

Super-friendly English speaking staff made our stay a pleasure. Clean and modern facilities. Traditional tatami mat rooms with plenty of power outlets to charge all your devices after a long day sightseeing! Great cafe space for breakfast and convenient walking distance to Kyoto station.

Located opposite Higashi Honganji Temple near Kyoto Station, its a conveniently located place to stay. Shared toilets & showers are clean. Rooms are dimly litted but sufficient. Able to hear neighbour snores as partition insulation is not thick. Very thoughtful to have breakfast packed as we had to leave before 6am.
