At most 3 stars but what it lacks is made up with morning uninterrupted views of Fuji San. The hotel is dated and worn but is only 1 hour from the base of Mount Fuji. The hotel has a bowling alley and onsen located on the 7th and 8th floor of the hotel which provides spectacular views of the city...

As a first time visitor to Japan, I was overwhelmed by the beauty of the location. But as a regular traveler the facilities left much to be desired. We stayed in the "western style" side of the facility. Our room was moderately sized (small for American hotels, average for European), but unfortunately had not been updated in quite some time....

The hotel is actually two hotels connected by a common lobby and conference area. The western-style rooms are reportedly very nice, according to my friends. I, however, stayed in the traditional Japanese tatami style rooms. It was clean, but it came straight out of 1960. The decor was old, the curtains were torn to shreds, my friends' room had a...
