It's 5 mins walk from the centre of downtown and entrance of Konpira. Budget price compared with nearby hotels, Japanese dinner and breakfast are surprice, though the dinning area is a bit small and crowded. Charged car park of the hotel is 250m from the hotel. The hotel has a public bath with onsen (which I knew in advance), toilet...

This place seems great because it's close (about 1 km) to Konpira-San and the downtown area. However, the owners/managers are fake and rude (and likely biased against people from other areas of Japan and foreigners). Earlier in the day, we informed (via phone call through the booking agency) the hotel that we were hiking and asked about laundry. They answered...

Very friendly lady runs the place. Close to Konpira-san and shopping / dinning area. B&B but you could also eat dinner there if you book. Small spa-bath. share toilets. tatami-floor rooms. (which means you have to sleep on the floor with fotons)
