I can't say enough about our experience staying at Nga'Moru Wilderness Camp. 13 of us made the trip up to Kidepo on Motorcycles and had an unforgettable night. Patric and his staff were so welcoming and everything was ready for us when we arrived. The cottages were clean, beds soft, and the showers were hot. The food was without a...

Unfortunately, Nga'Moru missed out on a great chance to impress. Chosen by the Uganda Tourism Board UTB as host to some of the buyers/media on a familiarisation tour before the Pearl of Africa Tourism Expo POATE 2017, one would have expected a lot more from the management. We arrived after a long haul from Entebbe and the reception we got...

A recent fly in visit to Kidepo with a group of travel writers from across Africa and India brought me face to face with the reality at Nga Moru. Entering the lodge through the workshop / kitchen / back of house area was the first indicator that not all was well. The six of us, including a staff member of...

A truly friendly hospitable lodge on the edge of Kidepo Valley National Park. The lodge has views across the Southern end of the Park and is frequently visited by the abundant wildlife. The hosts made us welcome with their infectious hospitality and good wholesome food. The staff were discreet and courteous adding to the pleasure of being in a remote...

Situated next to the Kidepo National park. The staff are very helpful, polite. Upon our arrival, there is assistance come and greet us. Every morning, the owner of the property would chat with us and say hi. We feel welcome. Food provided by the site is delicious, we even have a pack lunch at our last day. We have a...

I absolutely loved the clean, natural bandas. They are rustic, and the open-air screen windows bring the expansive savanna right to your room. Running hot water, and food that is beyond elegant. I found every meal I had there--from the breakfast, sandwiches at lunch or dinner, to have a touch of the exotic and is far more classy than many...

We had a more than lovely welcome by Patrick and his lovely wife Lynn. They are a unique -non standard-very friendly and knowledgeable couple. Patrick is also especially fond of kids visiting his place. Also the 80 years old father of Patrick- a retired South African ranger- lives there. His father is happy to take the kids out early morning's...

Stopped for a drink - not really what the place is set up for - but were invited in anyway to the pleasant terrace. Plans underway for a great development and clearly the best mid-range option at the moment for Kidepo.

I visited Nga moru Wilderness Camp last week while in a trip in Uganda. I visit Uganda at least twice a year and I really love this country and people. However this is the first time I visit this lodge. So this lodge is decent and the food pretty good while the price is ok. Midrange comparing to the high...

Our policy is that Drivers/Guides stay for free if they eat and sleep with the Camp staff. If they wish to stay and eat at the lodge with their clients they are required to pay the same as any other guest, albeit at a discounted rate. This is not a racist issue it as a monetary issue, and quite frankly...

This is a great place to stay. Patrick and Lynn are super friendly, and have a great knowledge of the area, and stories to tell. Their place is tastefully constructed and offers a luxury in the bush, which is greatly appreciated after the long drive north. If you are going to Kidepo, I highly recommend a stay here!
