We had a year ago chosen to book apartment P1 grounded the good reviews on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately, we have been forced to postpone the trip indefinitely due to Corona, but will still have to give the owner 5 stars due to high service, friendliness and communication. Paul has from the beginning been answered all the questions we had regarding the corona situation and the apartment and was so extraordinarily kind to refund our deposit- despite the fact that it was not refundable. Paul is a type who does not speculate in profit and seems to have a sincere interest in that tenants of his apartment should have a good experience. We are now postponing the trip to next winter and expect 100% to book the same apartment again.

Fantastic views from this apartment and felt like home from home. Lovely sized balcony with comfortable sitting area and loungers. Some good restaurants in the area and also music nights in the beach bar. A little attention to detail needed in the apartment but overall would highly recommend for the views alone. Not for the infirm!

From the great communication before arriving to The perfect instructions to know what to expect, this had been the best holiday in years. The apartment is like a home from home. Aircon, wifi, TV with Netflix, King bed which was sooo perfect. Amazing terrace and view with comfy table and chairs and very private sunloungers. A few steps from lift, near pool and sky bar. Paul Tyne owner responds immediately to any need, and provided considerate and brilliant advice. While the complex is up at the very top of a hill you can get downhill easily and there are buses to anywhere and taxis for back up too. Playa Del Cura is a quiet little piece of heaven. Went to the locals bar (Pio Pio) and beach. Taxis can't take you all the way there. You have to make an effort but it's worth it!! I will be back...mostly because if you don't want to you really don't need to leave the apartment except for supplies. You can sit and watch and listen to the ocean all day every day.

We stayed here for 2 months mid-Jan to mid-March. The apartment feels like a cozy home, completely supplied, king bed, large terrace with view to die for. A few steps from elevator, near pool, tennis and bar with live music, restaurant on-site. Fast, dependable wifi. Fast, dependable owner! Paul responds immediately to any need, a kind, funny, generous storyteller. Market, 7 restaurants and buses to anywhere (almost constant) a 5 minute walk downhill (cheap taxi available for uphill...very steep...if needed). Be sure to see the mountainous interior of the island, especially Teror and Fagata, both charming and a great place for lunch. And don't miss the winery for a tasting and nibbles. Cura is alive but sedate, a perfect combination within a short ride to Puerto Rico or other congested, more touristy towns. Monsenor P-1 is your lovely home away from home.

Some of the reviews on TripAdvisor brought us here as we are staying in apartments at the bottom of the hill. We had what seems the staple diet here for starters: We shared garlic bread with cheese and prawns in hot butter. Very nice. The spring rolls were not available. For mains herself had chicken curry that, unusually, were accompanied by salad! However, it was very nice. I had a roasted half chicken with chips and salad, also very nice. A bottle of Rioja and water to drink. This time we shared two desserts, pecan pie and chocolate fondue. Again very nice but not home made, however, no problem there. The bill was a reasonable €60. The lady who served us did her best to be pleasant but was, I’d say, at the wrong end of a long day. Lighting the candle on the table seemed a chore and was done only on request as opposed to routinely. Overall we had a nice meal.
