We've just arrived home after a four day stay at Lyngen Lodge and haven't stopped raving about it. Located in such a picturesque setting (the promotional photos are accurate) with a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, our holiday there was just perfect. The bedrooms are very small, but modern, warm and very comfortable (we had one of the double rooms,...

If you want to go on an arctic adventure, the accommodation, the food, the service, the activities and the people at Lyngen Lodge somehow make a very cold place feel like a very warm place! With regards to the northern lights, we either got very very very lucky with the weather or this really is the best place to see...

What an amazing experience and awesome place to stay. From dog sledding to ice fishing every part of our stay was great. We were lucky enough to see the lights and no words can describe that. The staff was amazing and treated us like we were part of a large family. If I make it back to Norway again, Lyngen...

A beautiful large house with 8 bedrooms. Each bedroom can accommodate 2 persons. Great 3 course dinners. An outdoor Jacuzzi - an experience for my family during winter I love the bathrooms - heated flooring and warm air. Clothes which are washed are dried overnight when they are left hanging in the bathroom. The dog sleg which they brought us...

Apart from a lack of snow preventing us from dog sledding everything else was wonderful. The food is delightful, fresh fish from the Fjord like you have never tasted. And reindeer. Everything - cakes bread etc homemade. The Lodge itself was comfortable with large communal areas, and VERY well heated - take only a T shirt and jeans to wear...

Stayed 3 nights as part of their Northern Lights package. Stepping into the lodge felt a bit like staying in someone's home -- well, a luxurious home with beautiful views overlooking the fjord that serves afternoon tea and has a 3-course gourmet dinner every night! The activities were varied and well-organized (I'd definitely recommend the dogsledding in winter). The staff...

This place didn't disappoint. The Lodge is based in the unique and picturesque location. The staff was very attentive but not over the top. We had dinners at the Lodge and every meal was special. Some reviewers below say that the rooms are small. This is true, but at the Lodge no one was sitting in their rooms. The Lodge...

A truely unique lodge and location. Staff are all attentive and professional, with a fabulous range of activities in summer ( or winter ) Graham and the team have gone to that extra effort with all that they do. My wife and I have just had 3 glorious nights and loved every minute. Cannot wait to go back to visit...

My wife and I spent three nights at the lodge with our two daughters recently. It was a get away from it all break to have quality time together. We achieved our objective and had a great time. We arrived later than expected due to flight delays - just after midnight but were greeted, made to feel welcome and fed...
