Had dinner here and was impressed with the selection and quality. I would highly recommend the ribs or the meat platter.. although make sure you are hungry as you get alot for your money. Couldn't cope with dessert😕 Service was friendly and efficient despite them being quite busy. Easy to find on Google maps and plenty of parking some lacking...

I came in on Sunday 19th for my granny's birthday and it's the first time since the renovation and wow what a job they have done! The huge windows lets in light and the huge wood burner is a absolutely perfect centre point of the whole dining area! We all had roast dinners (as it was a Sunday) paid £11.95...

Have been here a couple of times for breakfast. Warm, comfortable, good value. Breakfast was acceptable, if strangely a little bland, but excellent value. The first couple of times we went it had great breakfast music too. Not intrusive, enjoyable even, which is rare. But today, oh no! It was like we were in a disco. Thump thump bang crash...

Drove past this place and liked the look so we thought we would try it. Walked in, sat down and we were served within 5mins (to be fair it was quite empty). When the food came it was really nice and we cleaned our plates. The only problem was it took nearly half an hour after we finished our food...

Staff were thoughtful and accommodating, clearly all are local, so so not expect 'cosmopolitan' like service. Manager took a personal interest in our enquiries and stopped doing his paperwork to give us his time. The actual pub is a...

A lovely little place Classic country pub feeling with a log burner inside. We visited on both the 5th March and again on the 6th March because it was so good. Staff were friendly both times and really helpful in recommending food. On the first night we all had a burger and the meat is locally sourced which is good...

Four of us called in to the Sawmills half way through a local circular walk. Arriving at 11.50 on Sunday 22nd Jan' we could select from either the breakfast or lunchtime menus. Selecting four cooked breakfasts, we found the food and the service were of very high quality and represented real value for money, we will definitely be returning. Nigel...
